How To Get Rid Of Facial Hair?

Unwanted hair can ruin your perfect look and at times create embarrassment when they appear on visible areas of the body. While some may have facial hair by birth, some face this cosmetic problem due to an imbalance of hormones, certain medications, irregular menstrual cycle, pregnancy etc. Taking a few minutes to pamper yourself can help you get rid of this troublesome facial hair.

Sugar Lemon

Mix 2 teaspoons of sugar with 2 teaspoons lime juice and add 10 tablespoons of water to it. Apply the solution directly on your face in the direction of hair growth. Let it rest for 20 minutes then wash with normal water.

Repeat this thrice a week depending on the density of hair.

This mixture will act like a natural bleach and exfoliate your face. Lemon juice will lighten the facial hair color. The combination of these ingredients is known to naturally remove facial hair.

Gram Flour Rose Water

Take two tablespoon gram flour, 1 ½ tablespoon rose water, 1 ½ tablespoon lemon juice. Mix all the ingredients together. Spread evenly on the face, let it dry before you rinse with water. Flour will remove all the dead cells from the skin whereas, rose water will act as a natural cleanser making it soft and beautiful. Repeat this 3-4 times a week.

Papaya

Along with innumerable health benefits, papaya has skin exfoliating properties too. Extract the pulp of a raw papaya. Add ½ teaspoon of turmeric powder and mix well. Massage gently on the hair growth area for a few minutes. Leave it for 20 minutes. Rinse with cold water. Repeat this process every once a week.

If you have mild hair growth, this treatment may even remove it permanently within a few weeks.

Oatmeal Scrub

The grainy texture of oatmeal makes it a good exfoliating agent. It prevents the itchiness and redness of skin along with protecting it from UV rays. A mixture of honey, lemon and oatmeal will replenish your skin with all the nutrients and make it hydrated.

Add 10 drops of lime juice to 1 tablespoon of honey and ½ teaspoon oats. Stir well and apply evenly on your face. Let it dry for 20 minutes. Then gently scrub against the opposite direction of hair growth. Rinse with water. Do this, at least, four times a week for quick results.

Alum Rosewater

Alum is generally available in a solid rock form. You will have to grind it in powdered form before adding it to three teaspoons of rose water. Add few drops of sesame or olive oil. Use a cotton ball for applying it on the affected areas. Leave it for 15 minutes and then rinse with water. Apply sesame/olive oil to moisturize the skin. If alum does not affect your skin in any way, you can continue doing this thrice a week to get completely rid of unwanted facial hair.
