Pineapple Sheera


Pineapple The King:

Pineapple goes very well with fruit cakes and breads but have you ever tried adding it to suji/sheera? If not, here’s a recipe for the same which is healthy and tasty all at the same time.

Ingredients

  • Pineapple Peeled and Chopped 1 Medium Size 
  • Semolina/Rawa/Suji 1 Cup
  • Ghee 1 Cup
  • Sugar Substitute 1 Cup 
  • Mixed Dry Fruits (cashew, almond, pistachio, raisins). Roasted and Finely Chopped 1 Small Bowl
  • Saffron/Kesar A Pinch

Method

  • Add ghee in a non-stick pan. Add semolina and keep stirring till it turns golden brown.
  • Then add saffron and pineapple. Cook for more 2-3 minutes.
  • Put water and cover the pan. Cook for 3 minutes on a medium flame.
  • Add sugar substitute and keep on stirring until all the moisture gets evaporated.
  • Lastly, take the sheera in a serving plate and garnish with chopped dry fruits. Serve hot!
